The Environmental Management of the Coastal Zone project in its third phase (2002 - 2007), has among others, the immediate objective of implementing participatory Local Area Coastal Resource Management (LACRM).

This PRA report constitutes a framework for the LACRM community project in the Koh Kong province, providing detailed descriptions of the situation in the targeted areas, based on secondary data as well as information acquired through the PRA dialogues. While describing the current situation, discussions of trends have also been included. Following the situational analysis, the identified issues are organised into problem and opportunity trees, producing overviews of the support requirements expressed by the communities. Important constraints to support are also discussed.

Village reports, which analyse the situation for each of the villages within the Koh Kong LACRM project area are also attached.
